JOB OVERVIEW: West Em Medical Spa is a rapidly growing Med Spa located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. We offer various services including Botox, Dysport, filler, laser resurfacing, facials, EmsculptNeo, and other aesthetic services.

Our practice is looking for a practice manager with at least 2-3 years of management experience. The applicant must be a team leader who can quickly assess situations and troubleshoot. The ideal candidate should be able to help our team create unique patient experiences while growing our patient base and our team's productivity.

We are looking for a candidate with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning and problem-solving.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage day-to-day operations of the practice, including the highest levels of patient care & customer service, responsiveness, and flow/efficiency in the practice

Manage vendor relations, cost control, and inventory management

Be responsible for supervising, training, and motivating staff performance

Have the ability to optimize concierge-level customer service and handle patient concerns

Effectively communicate departmental goals, policies, and training to staff

Establish a high-performing team of staff that is efficient, knowledgeable, service-oriented, and shares responsibility for attaining the goals of the practice

Organize all front and back-office staffing schedules including call-ins, time off requests, and arranging appropriate coverage as needed

Coordinate patient scheduling with a focus on maximizing cosmetic procedure revenues

The candidate will also be assigned to appointment scheduling, reception, and telephone, and be able to work in any of these roles

Encourage a positive, engaging work environment

Conduct ongoing employee evaluations

QUALIFICATIONS:

College graduate and 2-3 years of experience in management are preferred but not required

Understanding of regulations and standards pertaining to quality assurance and patient confidentiality

Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills

Proven history of motivating a team to meet or exceed practice goals

Excellent verbal and written skills

Ability to build positive relationships with patients and staff

Capable of multitasking under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Works well independently and as part of a team

Job responsibilities include:

● Main responsibilities include: procedure prep, rooming patients, taking before & after photos, charting for providers, and keeping track of inventory and medical supplies.

● All employees are part of West Em Medical Spa’s marketing team. This includes assisting at educational client gatherings, holding open house events, working on special promotions, actively promoting West Em in the community, etc.

● Able to Sell and answer questions about West Em’s chosen lines of home skin care products.

● Assist in the daily operation of West Em including talking to patients on the phone, scheduling, cleaning, etc.

● Most importantly, as West Em is a small business, everyone works together to get whatever needs to be done to run our business smoothly.
